Mesa Market Stats:  There were a total of 4346 closed sales from April 1st to September 30th in 2009 compared to 2942 in the same six months of 2008. The average selling price in Mesa for that period in 2009 was $147,010 compared to an average selling price of $204,918 for 2008, a percentage drop of 28%. The average sales price per square foot was $80.51 compared to $115.18 for the same period in 2008. The average number of days a house was on the market was 82, compared to 89 days for the same period in 2008.
