Princes and Pirates - LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT!
Attention all kids and pirates. Power Ranch is hosting it’s annual Princes and Pirates Boys Manners Class in September. Kids are encouraged to dress like pirates, but they will learn manners and ways to act more like a Prince, but still look like Pirates. We will play games, hear stories, do crafts and even have a fun Pirate snack. Parents, remember this is not a daycare or child watch service, you will have to remain with your children. Registration ends on Friday, September 12 at 5 p.m.
Picnic in the Park – Family Movie Night
Come out and enjoy the Arizona fall with Power Ranch by attending a free family movie. Bring blankets, food, refreshments, family and friends for this fun and free event. We will be showing the

Community Garage Sale
Power Ranch will be holding our semi-annual Community Garage Sale. Registration is taken at the Ranch House and there is a $2 charge per household. The garage sale will be advertised in all the major East Valley publications and maps will be handed out within the community by volunteers.

Time: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost: $2 per Household
Registration: Registration begins on September 1 and will ends on Thursday, October 16 at 5:00 p.m. To register, come to the Ranch House Clubhouse during business hours and make the $2 payment.

Learn how to handle children who whine, argue, and misbehave in public. Do this with Empathy, Setting Limits, and Effective Consequences. Avoid exhausting power struggles over mornings, bedtimes, meal times and sibling bickering. Teach your children respect, responsibility, and self-discipline… and have a loving relationship! This 3 week class is for Power Ranch Residents Only. (This class is designed for parents with children in the 0-6 age group).
BELLY DANCING FITNESS
Learn basic moves, posture and combos from dance instructor Amunet. There will be a short choreographed dance taught as well. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance on bare feet or bring dancing shoes.

The Power Ranch Dance Classes are back in swing. Come learn the basics of many different dance styles with a focus on Tap. our first Performance is at the Winter Wonderland Event. Register early as space is limited.

HARKINS MOVIE TICKETS
Residents, if you didn’t already know, the Power Ranch Community Association has discount movie tickets for any Harkins Theater in the Valley. There are some restrictions on the tickets, but they are still a great deal at only $6.50 per ticket and you can buy up to 6 at any one time. To purchase the tickets just come into the Association office at the Ranch House. We can only accept check and cash for payments and you must be a Power Ranch resident.
POWER RANCH SOFTBALL FIELD
Power Ranch is taking reservations for the softball field in The Knolls neighborhood. This field will be available to residents of Power Ranch only, there will be no charge associated with using the field, the field will only be available by prior reservation. There will only be 1 organized team on the field at any time. Organized team games are prohibited at all times. This is due to the close proximity of the “Tot-Lot” playground area and lack of parking and seating. Any team that utilizes the field for practices will be restricted to a 1 hour session and must carry proof of reservation by completing a contractual agreement with the Association while utilizing the field. POWER RANCH RESIDENT LIBRARY
Hey residents, remember that Power Ranch does have a variety of books that any resident can barrow at anytime. Just come down to the Ranch House during business hours and grab a book. The only rule is that you either return the book or donate a new one. If you’ve got several books that are just taking up space, bring them down to the Ranch House for others to enjoy.
