The Arizona Department of transportation and Federal Highway Administration will be holding two open house events to inform and invite public involvement in the process of the new proposed State Route 802 Freeway which will connect the loop 202 freeway by Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport to the US 60 at Florence Junction.
Representatives of ADOT and FHWA and their consulting team will be available to provide information, answer questions and discuss the project with the community. The purpose of the open house is to present draft alignment concepts for public review, discussion and comment. The comments received will be used as input to the process. A presentation will begin at 6.30pm followed by a questions and answers session.
Meeting 1 will be held on Tuesday December 2nd, 2008 at ASU Polytechnic 7001 E Williams Field Rd, Mesa AZ from 6pm to 8pm
Meeting 2 will be held on Thursday December 4th, 2008 at the Kathryn Sue Simonton Elementary School 40300 N Simonton Blvd. Queen Creek AZ from 6pm to 8pm.
