Plant deciduous trees and non frost sensitive shrubs
Prune Deciduous trees
Protect frost sensitive trees and plants from the cold weather by covering them with burlap or frost cloth removing the cloth in the day time.
Fertilize over-seeded turf
Thin and structurally prune trees

Prune roses and fruit trees
Protect frost sensitive trees and plants from the cold weather by covering them with burlap or frost cloth removing the cloth in the day time.
Fertilize roses with systemic rose food
Re-mulch flower beds
Fertilize citrus trees (on or about Valentines day)
Apply pre-emergent herbicide to granite beds
Install spring annuals.
